DDoS via IoT and Net Neutrality

The past few days have brought with them some serious revelations, all involving DDoS attacks: the technical issues that resulted in the cancellation of the Ontario online literacy test was caused by a cyberattack and proponents of the two-tier Internet have seized the DDOS against Dyn DNS to further their cause.

I recently received my first ever Interac Email Phishing attempt. Once marked as spam, it disappears quickly and it becomes harder to document, so I will document it here.
